Charitable Auctions is a cost effective way for you to raise money for
your charity or non profit with no out of pocket expense. We ONLY charge a small
fee when your item sells. If it doesn’t sell, you don’t pay anything. And we
don’t just offer auctions. You can open a fundraising page, run raffles,
treasure hunts and poker tournaments. We are also committed to offering you new
ways to raise money that are fun and exciting for your donors.
How can Charitable-Auctions help my non
profit?
We are dedicated to helping you raise money for your cause. That is why
we only charge a small fee when you collect the money. We will never ask you to
pay for our services upfront. We also offer free tips and articles you can use
to run online and offline fundraising events.
How can I raise money for a youth sports
team?
To raise money for your youth sports team, first you will need to contact
the park district that runs the sports league. Once they sign up as member of
Charitable Auctions and we verify them as a non profit, you can open a tier 2
store and auction off items. You will also have the ability to start fundraising
pages where your friends and family can make cash donations in your name to the
park district.
What if I don’t have products to auction
off?
You have two options. 1) You can use the fundraising pages, run a raffle
or treasure hunt or set up poker tournaments. 2) We have also teamed up with a
wholesaler and dropshipping company. You will be able to view and list over
200,000 brand name products up to 75% off retail. You only have to pay for the
products after they sell and the products are shipped directly to your buyer.

How do the Fundraising pages
work?
A fundraising page is a page where your friends, family and co workers
can donate money directly to your cause. It shows your goals and now much more
money you have to raise to get there. Click Here

If I don’t have a Paypal account can I still use your
auctions site?
If you don’t want to set up a paypal account, we can collect the money
for you. We charge 7.5% for auction items and 5% for fundraising pages. This fee
covers the end of auction, paypal and administration fees. By the
15th of the next month we will mail you a check in the amount you
collected minus our fees.
Can I only use your auction site to run the fundraising
pages, raffle, treasure hunts and poker
tournaments?
Yes, You need to sign up and get verified as an non profit before you can
open a store. Once your store is open, you will find all the tools to open your
fundraisings pages, run raffles, treasure hunts and poker tournaments.
What is a Tier 2
store?
A tier 2 store is a store some of your big donors can open and upload
their products or services. All the money collected from sold items is deposited
directly into your paypal account and a receipt is automatically generated for
the donor. This eliminates any work on your end and gives your donors more
exposure.
How can I get people to open a tier 2 store for my non
profit?
The best way is to contact your main donors and ask if they would like to
open a store. This will give them the opportunity to donate whenever they can.
On your store page, you will see a request link. People can contact you to
request a tier 2 store.
Will you help with marketing my
store?
Yes, we’ll give you marketing material you can use to tell your contact

Will you tell me when Charitable-Auction is advertising
on the radio or television?
Yes, We notify everyone through our newsletter. If you haven’t signed up
yet, visit our newsletter page.

When I use your auction website, is it okay to sell
products to people out of state?
Yes, This site allows you to reach a larger audience. You will be able to
sell items to people all over the world not just the hundred people you get at a
live silent auction.
Can I sell item without getting verified?
No, We only allow non profits and charities to raise money through our
site. We must verify each charity and non profit to ensure any money collected
is going to a good cause.
Donor Questions
What if I just want to donate my product or service to a
charity?
You can browse all the charities and non profits that are using our site.
Contact them to say you would like to donate a product or service to their
organization. If the charity or non profit is not a member of
Charitable-Auction, you can give us their information and we will contact them
to sign up.
Do I have to work or run a non profit or charity to use
your site?
No you can request a tier 2 store or open a fundraising page from the
charity or non profit of your choice. Go to the main charities or non profits
store and request the page you would like to open from the left side of the
screen.
Can I collect money for my
auctions?
No, only the main charity or non profit can collect money.

How to open a Tier 2
Store?
Once you choose a charity you want to raise money for, go the main store
page. From the left side of the screen request the page you would like to
open.
How do I add my Paypal email for
Auctions?
Once in your members area, go under “My Account” then under “Manage
Account”. At the bottom of the page you will see “Direct Payment Settings” This
is where you add your paypal link or choose to let us collect payment for
you.
How can I ship?
Once you collect payment through Paypal, Paypal will give you the option
to generate a shipping label and print it off.
Once an item sells, how does Charitable-Auctions collect
its fee?
We will send you an invoice for all fees generated at the end of each
month.
Do I need to sign up for a store
subscription?
No, the store subscriptions are for charities that would like to add
upgrades to their listings.
If I sign up for a store subscription, will all my tier 2
stores be upgraded?
Yes, once the main store signs up for a subscription, all your tier 2
stores are automatically upgraded
Can I track my tier 2
stores?
Yes, you will have to approve all tier 2 stores before they go live. In
your Members Account, go under “My Account” and you will see a tab for “Tier 2”
stores. You can view every store and delete any listings you don’t
approve.
How to I delete a tier 2 store or fundraising
page?
In the “Tier 2” store tab you can delete any store and fundraising
page
Do people have to request a fundraising
page?
No, People can open a fundraising page without a request. Fundraising
pages are only used to raise money for your cause. Any donations made through a
fundraising page is automatically deposited into your Paypal account.
Can my tier 2 stores run a raffle, treasure hunt or poker
tournament?
No, only the main charity or non profit can set up a raffle, treasure
hunt or poker tournament.
How can people find my store when they visit
IDonateToCharity.org?
People can do a search for the product you are selling or they can go
into the “Stores” tab and run a search. It’s best to name your store with a name
similar to your non profits nam. Featured stores show up first and all other
stores will show up below them.
Selling questions
How can I end my auction
listing?
Once in your account you can view all open auctions. Pick the auction you
want to end and delete it. This will end your auction.
What does it cost to sell on
IDonateToCharity.org?
Nothing, we only ask for a small Final Value Fee when your auction item
sells.
How much does it cost me to relist an
item?
You can auto relist your unsold item up to 15 times for FREE.
Can I sell digital items?
